It's been a hell of a year with Covid19. Who would've thought right - all the abrupt changes to business and just life as we know it. We thought we'd use the down time to really look at our products and services and find ways to improve. So today, we're super excited to share the following changes with you......
ITS OFFICIAL - STAAVIAS IN AUSTRALIA
Staavias is officially LIVE in Australia. (Insert party poppers). Effective immediately, QLD will be our main point of distribution. However, we do have stock in NZ and whatever can be sent from there, will be. Everything else from QLD.
OUR NEW SIZE RANGE
As you know, we're always looking for ways to improve and we're stoked to have partnered up with a new factory. This means we can provide more styles more consistently which has always been our goal.
To keep unison amongst the different factories we work with, moving forward all our new designs will be available in sizes 9 to 14, all wide width. We will no longer be selling half sizes once we've completely sold all the old stock.
Any restocks will be in new sizes too.
We have a new sizing guide which will be available on our website very soon and some videos to help you select the right size shoe for your foot.
CURRENCY UPDATE
From 01st September our primary currency will change to from NZD to USD. To keep up with the global demand for Staavias, a change of currency is needed to move forward and be able to expand into different markets and platforms. USD is like the main currency in business. We are also charged production costs in USD so this will make so much more sense for us.
However, in saying this we have installed an advance function on our website so that you can still purchase your favourite shoes in your home currency e.g. New Zealanders will be able to check out in NZD and Australians in AUD and so on.
You will still see USD prices before they convert to your home currency.
POSTAGE CHARGES
For the past 4 years we have been delighted to be able to offer our NZ customers free shipping and our Australian customers a low shipping fee of $9.99. This will continue through to the 31st August 2020.
From 01st September 2020 our shipping charges for both NZ & Australia will change to a flat fee of $12.99. This will assist with your shipping costs and is non refundable in the case of returns.
The more shoes we ship out, the more discounts we qualify for as a business. So our promise to you is as our shipping charges lower (currently sitting at $30.40 per shoe box) we will pass this savings on to you, our loyal customers.

This role is a sales role with a twist, you will not be selling any products whatsoever, no door knocking - nothing like that. Instead you will be selling our story hence the highlight of sales skills.
